This morning at around 6am, a water main broke in the Governors Manor. The city is aware of the issue and has turned off all of the water for the 20 suites. The water main has a major break and requires excavation of the front of the property.
We advise everyone in the entire neighbourhood to check their homes to ensure that there are no issues.
About a week ago, the City of Toronto did work on the water service locally – and most of the neighbourhood immediately saw a substantial increase in the water pressure, with some experiencing issues with too much pressure causing leaks and breakages.
If you are having issues with the water in your home, please call 311 to report it to the city. The case file for this specific incident is File: #4176410.
Fingers crossed this all gets resolved quickly.
