Dear Neighbours,

Construction activities are progressing well at Bayview Junction and we are currently on-track to meet the June completion date.

Arno Electric, Hydro One’s electrical contractor, has completed removing their equipment and materials from site. We have now begun installing the posts for the new wall and the panels are expected to arrive on-site tomorrow. Following this, we will commence wall installation.  In the next few days, we will be removing one of the existing Serbian Spruce trees as indicated in the site landscaping plan.

We are pleased to inform you we have secured Cambridge Landscaping to complete the landscaping of the area. As construction activities continue to advance, we will keep you updated on our progress and any planned changes to the schedule.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Many thanks,

Dana Gardner

Arthur Santos from Douglas Crescent number 96 did a RED CROSS babysitting course and has a certification.
It is a basic course but he is very good with children and they normally enjoy being with him.
He is offering his “services” to play and entertain younger children while the parents have guests or are busy studying, working or just need a couple of hours break. PARENTS SHOULD BE AT HOME ALL THE TIME.
He would be fully responsible for the child, he will play and entertain the child so parents can focus on another activity.
This is Arthur’s initiative, with his parents approval, to babysit younger children between 3 to 8 years old.
Description of the course he attended:
This course empowers youth ages 11 to 15 with confidence and skills to care for themselves when home alone and for other children. Participants learn how to care for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children; strategies to create a safe and positive environment and prevent inguries; problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle emergencies and give first aid; age-appropriate activities and games; communication and basic business skills.
